BOBAFATT originally hails from Croydon, Surrey, England, and began attempting to DJ at the age of 12 in a bedroom in Basingstoke. After shifting pause-button mix-tapes at school, he had his first public gig in 1992. Since then, he has played all over the UK (London, Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham, Taunton, Gloucester, Trowbridge, Reading), as well as Arumdo at Baskerville Hall in 2006 and Glastonbury Festival in 2001.
Sometimes known as SKRUBBA, he plays a wide, eclectic range of music, but specialises in Hip Hop. He currently has several residencies in Bath, and has done radio work on BBC 1Xtra as the first winner of MistaJam's "Mix It Up Challenge", as well as playing on BBC Commonwealth, (Manchester), Eagle FM (Bristol) with DJ Lynx, DJ Kim, 1xtra's DJ Diggz and MC Kelz, Passion FM (Oxford) with DJ Kim & Kid Fury, Breaks FM (Exeter) with High-8, Radio 210 FM (Reading), and regularly for URB Online (Bath) for UK Hip Hop show Rockettime.
