Welcome to the world of Luvin it
So now you're here. I will tell you about the concept of what the Luvin it parties are all about. The idea is create more of an atmosphere than just putting on a party. This is based on my own experiences of the late eighties and early nineties, when free parties were being held in fields/disused warehouses all over the country.
The likes of Circus Warp, DIY, Spiral tribe and Bedlam who put on the big free parties at that time gave me and many other people some of the best experiences that I have ever had and will have in my life and they will probably stay there for the rest of my life.
Unfortunately due to the criminal justice bill that was bought out in 1992 this brought an abrupt end to an amazing thing that had brought so much happiness to so many people.
A lot of people especially in their early twenties of today have never really experienced what it is to go to a free party. Yes, you have the likes of Gatecrasher and Tea in the Park and Glastonbury. But these are all money making activities the purpose of which is to make profit, and from the party spirited people, this is wrong.
Why should you have to pay to be able to enjoy yourself?
We the people of Luvin it, and these people include the designers, printers, DJ's, club and bar owners, and the people that help move the speakers (and probably more), have a passion for what we do.
This passion needs to be shared with other people and we have the ability to do it.
It reminds us of why we are all here; it brings us together as one.
People should be able to feel free and love it and not have to feel restricted in any way. They say we live in a democratic world and have freedom of speech, this is very true. But actually how free are you to do what you actually want to do?
Here everything comes with a price and there is a cost to living.
Parties should be free.
